RANCHO LOMA VINEYARDS WINS AGAIN AT THE 2021 TEXSOM INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION

TEXSOM International Wine Awards 2021 were announced this past May and once again RLV was a winner! The Awards garnered nearly 2,400 entries representing 29 countries and 16 US states. Entries were blind-tasted and judged by 44 renowned tastemakers from across the country. Of the entries judged, the judges awarded 189 Gold medals (8% of entries), 731 Silver medals and 805 Bronze medals. We are delighted to present our award winning wines for the September Wine Club.
2021 Gold Winner: 2020 RLV CINSAULT ROSÉ – Texas High Plains
Judges Notes: “Provencal in style with red fruit amped up by energetic acidity. It’s all carried on a round texture.”

Aroma of roses on the nose followed by sweet red raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, caramel embraced by soft tannins with medium body and gentle soft finish.

Forward black cherry, plum and blueberry with notes of clove and cassis supported by supple tannins.

Earthy nose, sweet and tart cherry, black currant and spice, with grippy tannins.
