RLV FINE WHITE WINES OF SUMMER 2021

The current wine release makes available new white wines and Rosé from RLV, sure to make your summer meals, evenings, and events more enjoyable. RLV, since its inception, had an affinity for making high quality white wines and Rosé. Today we are proud to make available 2 more white Rhone blend wines, the 2019 RLV Duet and the 2018 RLV III, each winning gold medals in the San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition in successive years. They are complementary yet distinctive in character and presentation.
2019 RLV DUET
The 2019 RLV Duet culminated from RLV’s gradual dalliance with French oak barrel fermentation and aging to achieve more roundness on the palate and complexity. Having the benefit of consultation from our French oenologist, Guenhael Kessler, we have always maintained a subtle influence of oak in all wines produced. The 2019 RLV Duet, nearly half Marsanne, was barrel fermented with malolactic fermentation (MLF) while the Viognier, was fermented in a tank with MLF blocked. There is more viscosity and density to the 2019 RLV Duet, and if not over chilled, you will find graceful elegance in body, and pleasing peach aromas with slight creaminess. The 2019 RLV Duet is an understated refined elegant wine.

2018 RLV III
The 2018 RLV III was produced similar to previous vintages, with Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne grape varietals, fermented and aged in steel and then blended prior to bottling. It has typical peach, honey and pear notes, freshness and lightness on the palate.

2020 RLV NOCTURNAL
The 2020 RLV Nocturnal (100% Albarino), is our newest vintage of Nocturnal with floral and honeysuckle nose, Granny Smith apples, peach and bright citrus aromas and soft lingering finish. Wonderfully refreshing to sip on the patio with friends

2020 RLV CINSAULT ROSÉ
Rancho Loma Vineyards is pleased again to present our newest vintage of Cinsault Rosé, a wonderfully brisk, fresh, palate cleansing wine to weather the summer heat. The 2020 RLV Cinsault Rosé has a fragrant nose of strawberry and raspberry that gives way to grapefruit, melon and bubblegum. I challenge you to have the discipline to stop drinking at just one glass.
