RLV 2021 Fine Wine Awards
This past month the 2021 San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition
announced the awards won from over 5000 entries. Rancho Loma Vineyard’s
latest fine wines were submitted from the 2018 vintage except for a Rhone-style white
wine blend from 2019.
All wines were awarded medals with the 2019 Duet, a blend of Marsanne and
Viognier, receiving a gold medal. Other wines getting recognition include silver
medals for 2018 Toro (Tempranillo) and 2018 The Tempter (Reserve Red Blend).
The 2018 Corso (an Italian style blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and
Barbera) and 2018 Syrah received bronze medals.
